The steps for performing this test are seen below:
1 -. Clean the floor to remove all oil, dirt, dust or any coating / sealer soil. If the surface has a primer, sealer or old adhesive that may affect the test procedure, must be removed, either sanding or washing. Remember, the alkali is present in the cement, the removal of more than 1/8 "can give a high pH reading. This test is designed to evaluate the surface that comes into contact with the adhesive.
2. Pour a small amount of wash water (ca. 1 1/2 diameter) in the floor surface.
3. After allowing the fluid to stand for approx. 30 seconds, place the strip of pH in the liquid for 1 second. Remove and combine with the best color that fits.
